Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Westmark Epoxy Floors of Olympia Heights, olympiaheightsepoxyandconcreteflooring.com, hello@olympiaheightsepoxyandconcreteflooring.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Westmark Epoxy Floors of Olympia Heights website, ask us for an estimate or hire us for work at your property. By doing any of those, you agree to them, so please read them before you book.

If you have a signed estimate or written agreement with us, its terms apply to your job alongside these. Where the two differ, the written agreement for your job controls.

Who we are and what we do

Westmark Epoxy Floors of Olympia Heights is a flooring contractor based in Olympia Heights, FL. We install and repair concrete and coated floors, including epoxy floor coatings, polished concrete, concrete sealing and pool deck resurfacing. The full list of services is on our home page.

Anything on this website about our services, materials or typical results is general information. It isn't a quote or a promise about your particular floor, because every slab is different until we've seen it. You can learn more about our crew on the About page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, including the size of the area, the condition of the concrete and the system you choose.

Some things only show up once the work starts, such as an old coating that won't come off cleanly, moisture in the slab or cracks that open up under grinding. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop and explain it to you, and we won't do the extra work until you approve it.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs or the condition of the floor may have changed, so we may need to update it before we schedule your job.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set your start date once you've accepted the estimate. Coatings and sealers need the right conditions to bond and cure, so heavy rain, high humidity or a wet slab can push the schedule back, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to clear out vehicles, belongings and anything stored on the floor before we arrive, unless your agreement says we'll handle that. You also agree to keep people, pets and vehicles off the new floor for the cure time we give you, because walking or driving on it too early can damage the finish.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (786) 408-1023 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials made or tinted for your job, or started prep work, your written agreement explains what costs you'll be responsible for.

Payment

Deposit amounts, payment due dates and the payment methods we accept are listed on your estimate or agreement. Please read them before you sign, and ask us if anything is unclear.

Payment is due as stated in your agreement. If a balance goes unpaid, we may pause further work and use the remedies Florida law allows to collect it, including a lien on the property where the law permits one.

Our guarantee and its limits

We guarantee your satisfaction on every job. If something about our work isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty for your floor, including what it covers and for how long, is the one stated in your agreement.

Our guarantee and any warranty cover our workmanship. They don't cover damage from misuse, impacts, chemical spills left on the surface, hot tires on a floor that wasn't designed for them, settling or movement of the slab, moisture coming up through the concrete after installation, or repairs made by someone else.

Some natural variation is normal in concrete and decorative floors. Polished and stained concrete, metallic epoxy and flake systems won't match a sample exactly, and existing marks or patches in a slab can still show after the work.

Apart from the guarantee and any written warranty in your agreement, and to the extent Florida law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, about our services or this website.

Limitation of liability

We're licensed and insured, and we take care to protect your property during the work. To the extent Florida law allows, Westmark Epoxy Floors of Olympia Heights isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a garage or business space while a floor cures.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that Florida law doesn't allow us to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, please contact us first through the Contact page or at (786) 408-1023. Most problems get sorted out once we've come back and looked at the floor together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't resolve it directly, either of us may take the matter to the state or county courts serving Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless your written agreement names another process.

Florida law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. Changes apply to estimates and jobs agreed to after the update, and don't change the terms of a job you've already signed for.
